I don’t know where to start, but welcome to my life! I actually am pretty excited to start sharing more about me through words in this space. A lot of my adult years have been shared through pictures on Instagram (since I was on it since it was invited, yikes!) as well Facebook. Rediscovering my LOVE for acting and theater in my 20’s inevitably led to numerous amounts of headshots, photo shoots and the like. I’ve ALWAYS wanted to have a blog, and here we are!

It’s truly never too late to reinvent yourself, find that spark that makes your face light up or begin again.

I am formally and casually inviting you into my life, as a little daily/weekly journal of sorts. I am currently busy doing the following but not limited too: homeschooling my 12 y/o, 10 y/o, 5 y/o and completely rebellious almost 3 y/o. I always wanted a big family and I can say I am SO thankful God allowed me to have four amazing kiddos. I am raising two Standard Poodles, one of which just had the most expensive vet bill of my life and the other who is possibly pregnant. I am taking care of 10 chickens who just went through having chicken mites, horrific, and we’re having to get rid of all of the mice that chickens attract. Yuck. I LOVE chickens, but they don’t come without some farm animal issues.

I was also acting and auditioning every week for the last 7 years and I just now discussed with my amazing agent about taking a break, and here I am, taking a break from acting to get my head straight! It honestly is the biggest weight off of my shoulders as I need to earn some money for this vet bill I have and it really was hard to carve out enough time last minute to memorize a script then perform it/film it quietly for a self tape in my circus of a household. Which leads me to why Tik Tok Shop became a go to for me! I started doing little Tik Toks and it’s helping me scratch that itch of filming, performing AND I’m going to do my best to make it my side income hustle.

I’m also married to this man of mine, Dixon (Skip) Klemz. He is wonderful, and we went through years of therapy to get to a place where I can say that without grimacing. Just straight honesty, marriage is not for the weak and can draw the worst out of people, especially if both people have unhealed parts of them. We have done our best to get this place of listening before reacting, hearing what the other person is saying and holding our tongue when necessary. Our work isn’t done, but I can praise God that despite our differences and different views, the Lord has allowed me to stay home with the kids without having to work (although in this economy I’m literally doing my best to earn money on the side) and the Lord has really softened my husbands heart in a lot of ways.

We bought our first house last year! yay!!!! It’s because we found out we had mold in our rental, booooooo. It was awful friend, but by God’s grace and faithfulness, 3 months from the time we found out we had mold exposure in our home, we had the keys to our new first home. God is SO GOOD!!!! Oh my gosh, I could really sing of his praises all day.

I’m still learning. I’m not perfect by any means. I hope that you enjoy reading about my life and the things we’re up to here in little Lake Stevens, WA, which by the way, is a pretty magical little country town that my sister says is like a Hallmark movie, and we are by the High School that Chris Pratt went too 😉

The photo I posted above is one of my favorites EVER taken of me, one, because a super model turned headshot photographer in LA took it and she KNOWS how to take photos, and two, she just made me feel the most beautiful that day and took the most beautiful photos I’ve had taken. I’ll love Dana Patrick forever. ❤

So cozy up, grab a coffee, I always have a French press in the morning with 2 Tbsp of cream and 1 Tbsp of Collagen Powder, and come learn things with me along the way!

We’re never too old to learn and never too old to stop and smell the roses.

Have such an amazing day friend! So glad you stopped by,

Michelle K.
